Security Policy
Policy on Security for the School of Architecture  Version: 10.22.2004 Policy Name: Security Policy Policy Purpose: To define the Security Policy of Architecture Students Scope: Students in the Professional Architecture Programs Policy: The security of the network is essential to its operation.  Under no circumstance will the initiatives in this policy be circumvented. 1: All users will be affiliated in some fashion with the School of Architecture 2: All users will adhere to the password policies set by the Network Administrator 3: Users will keep their password secret at all times. 4: Users will not allow other non-Architecture persons to “use” their privledges. 5: ACSS will maintain proper security patches and virus definitions on all machines. 6: ACSS will use network technologies to provide logical security 7: ACSS will use NTFS security principles to provide user security 8: ACSS will maintain a proper backup and recovery solution 9: ACSS will take all measures to comply with ITSO 10: All  it security policies are to be applied to our environment where possible.
