Digital Archive of Latin American Architecture
This is a graphic record and documentation of Latin American architecture. Architectural sections, perspectives, and virtual reality walk-through animations were compiled in the form of interactive files done in class settings. The analysis of the architecture models through plans, sections, exploded axonometric animations, and walk-through animations uses the construction of digital models to acquire and archive knowledge bases of specific historical and geographical area of architecture not readily available to students at the University of Kansas.
Cinematic Techniques in Architecture Studio
I have integrated the study of film in my studios in order to utilize the virtual camera in the design process, therefore using the virtual camera for the immersion in the virtual model, to design virtual environments and to experience materiality and light. The study of film in the conceptual phase of design helps us understand our contemporary perception of time and space.
