Architecture

The architecture program at the University of Kansas offers two NAAB-accredited degrees.

One is the Bachelor of Architecture (nominally five years), and the other is the "professional" Master of Architecture (about one to three and a half years, depending upon a student's previous college work). The program also offers a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies for those who would like to complete a liberal arts degree in architecture as preparation for a professional Master of Architecture degree or for work or graduate study in a related field. Additionally, an "academic" Master of Architecture is offered for those who already hold a professional degree in architecture but wish to pursue architectural research topics.  Finally, a 36 credit post-professional Master of Architecture degree emphasizing management/practice is offered at the KU Edwards Campus.
